Director of Extra-Curricular Services The BC Muslim Association invites applications from qualified candidates for a full-time position of Director of Extra- Curricular Services for new program development, marketing and implementation by the BCMA Board of Education. This is a senior level position reporting directly to the Board of Education. It will provide leadership, management and coordination among various extra-curricular services within BCMA, local and national groups, relevant school districts, association networks, and others involved in the non profit school sector. The right individual, apart from strong Islamic knowledge, must be tenacious, have marketing experience, project and change management knowledge, and be well known within the community. The director will be responsible for multiple programs and will have the vision to leverage the full extent of BCMA resources.
This position offers an excellent remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate must:
- Be well versed in the Quran and Sunnah.
- Possess a Bachelors degree and an educational philosophy, which reflects a strong commitment to the objectives of academic excellence in an Islamic environment.
- Have a minimum of five years of cumulative administrative experience, project management, financial planning, fundraising, marketing, recruiting, training and managing staff.
- Have a proven track record of educational leadership and organizational abilities.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and excellent customer relations.
