Press Release on the tragedy at the Manchester Arena Bombing
The Association categorically condemns deadly blast in Manchester, U.K. and all acts of violence and heinous crime against humanity. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of innocent victims of this tragic, senseless and horrifying attack inside Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England on Monday May 22nd, 2017.
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the BC Muslim Association, on behalf of Muslim community in the Province of British Columbia, offers deep condolences to our brothers and sisters in Manchester City. Safety, security and well-being of all communities are our number one priority. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.
The BC Muslim Association stands in solidarity with the British people during these difficult times of sadness, and prays that the community is able to use the tenets of their faith to heal in the wake of this tragic incident.
