Due to the spike in the number of cases of COVID-19 infections throughout British Columbia, the BCMA Executives are highly recommending our patrons to wear face masks while on BCMA properties. However, some of our centers due to their local conditions may have different requirements. Please follow the local management’s instructions.
This decision was made out of an abundance of caution and for the welfare of our brothers and sisters who have tasked us to provide risk free environment to worship.
As well, we encourage those who are able to but have not got their jabs to do so without delay. To this end, BCMA is organizing it’s 5th, 6th and 7th vaccination clinics at Masjid Al Salaam, Masjidur Rahmah and Abbotsford Islamic Center on August 21, September 4 and September 18 respectively. Please see attached for details. With increased vaccinations in our populations we may be able to see an end to this pandemic soon Insha Allah.
