Month of Dhū al Hijjah will commence on Thursday, June 30, 2022

Al salamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah

On behalf of the Board of Religious Services of the BC Muslim Association, I am pleased to announce the month of Dhu al Hijjah will commence on Thursday, June 30, 2022. As per our
global moonsighting, we were able to verify multiple sightings of the crescent moon around the world. Please note the following important dates. The day of ‘Arafah will be on Friday, July 8, 2022. Eid al Adha will be on Saturday, July 9, 2022.
The days of tashriq will commence at maghrib on July 9 and end with Maghrib on July 12. May Allah enable us to make the most of the first ten blessed days of Dhu al Hijjah.
